Hugh Jackman pens heartfelt birthday message to Incredible wife Deborra-Lee Furness

Hugh Jackman’s love for his wife Deborra-Lee Furness goes far beyond an Instagram caption. Even so, the 53-year-old has paid a heartfelt homage to his Incredible Wife on her birthday. On Tuesday, the Wolverine penned a sweet tribute dedicated to his wife of 25 years, Deborra-Lee Furness for her 66th birthday.

Taking to his Instagram Hugh wrote, “It’s my incredible wife’s birthday. Not sure if I can declare a public holiday!!! But feels like we should. Because there’s no one on this planet I know who celebrates every moment of every day like her. Deb, you are everything to me. I love you. Happy birthday!”

Jackman, 52, and Furness, 64, first met on the set of the Australian TV series Correlli in 1995. And the rest, as they say, is history. The couple tied the knot the following year, in April 1996 at a church outside Melbourne. They share son Oscar, 21, and daughter Ava, 16.

In April, the pair marked 25 years of marriage, Jackman posted a sweet tribute for their anniversary.

“Being married to you Deb is as natural as breathing,” he wrote at the time. “From nearly the moment we met … I knew our destiny was to be together. In our 25 years – our love has only grown deeper. The fun, excitement and adventure more exhilarating; the learning even greater. I’m forever grateful to share our love, our life – and, our family together. We’ve only just begun. Deb, I love you with all my heart!”

On the work front, The actor is currently preparing for his return on Broadway in a revival of The Music Man.
