Jay Park retires, the Hip Hop star created an uproar on social media as he deleted his Instagram account. The popular star had announced on 31st December that he is stepping down from his position as CEO to AOMG and H1GHR Music. Jay Park released the official statement on his Instagram. Now in a fresh development, Jay Park has officially deactivated/deleted his official Instagram account!
Yes, you read it right, since January 1, 2022, his Instagram account is no longer available to fans. Yes, the singer has shut his Instagram account with 5.6 million followers. This has sparked rumours that the hip hop star is hinting at possible retirement.
In his statement ahead of stepping down as a CEO, he wrote: “I know this may be shocking to a lot of people but I will remain as an advisor for both labels and we will continue to be a family and a crew.”
On December 30th, one day before Jay Park stepped down as CEO, he posted on Twitter, saying, “If I ever retire or disappear, make sure to miss me”.

There is no official confirmation from Jay Park’s side as of now, but if it does turn out to be true, ‘To Life’ would mark Jay Park’s last song.
For the unversed, The American star, 34, rebranded himself as a solo singer and rapper after leaving the K-pop boy band 2 PM in 2010 He is an influential figure in South Korea’s hip-hop and R&B scene. Jay Park founded AOMG in 2013 and in 2017, H1ghr Music was established.
