Jennifer Lawrence and husband Cooke Maroney welcome first child

Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence and her husband Cooke Maroney welcomed their first child together. The couple had confirmed they were expecting in September 2021. As reported by TMZ on Wednesday, the Oscar-winning actor has welcomed her baby in Los Angeles County. The exact date she gave birth and the sex of the baby is as yet not known.

This is Jennifer Lawrence’s first child with Cooke Maroney, whom she tied the knot with in October 2019.

The Don’t Look Up star and her art gallery owner husband began dating in 2018. They were reportedly introduced by Lawrence’s close friend. The couple got engaged in February 2019 and tied the knot in October 2019 at Belcourt of Newport mansion in Rhode Island.

In December 2021, Jennifer was busy promoting her film Don’t Look Up alongside Leonardo DiCaprio. She also made a stunning red carpet appearance as she flaunted her baby bump.

During a 2019 podcast show NAKED With Catt Sadler, Jennifer called Cooke Maroney “the greatest human being” she’s ever met and said: “I just met Cooke and I wanted to marry him. We wanted to marry each other. We wanted to commit fully and you know, he’s my best friend. I feel very honoured to become a Maroney/”

Jennifer Lawrence was last seen in the dark comedy Don’t Look Up. The film featured other Hollywood A-listers like Meryl Streep, Leonardo DiCaprio, Cate Blanchett, Timothee Chalamet, and Jonah Hill. It also starred Ariana Grande, Tyler Perry, Ron Perlman and Kid Cudi.
