Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck after two years of marriage. It is Ben’s second divorce, his first one was from actor Jennifer Garner. Ben and Garner got married in 2005 and divorced in 2018. They share three children – Violet, 19, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12. Recently, Ben was spotted celebrating Thanksgiving with Garner, troubling Lopez, as reported by Mirror.

A source shared with Heat World magazine that “Jen [Lopez] felt threatened by Jennifer [Garner] throughout her marriage. The fact that Ben would frequently seek advice from Jennifer during their conflicts drove her up the wall.” The insider continued, “Jen believed she and Ben would be spending substantial time together over the holidays, as he had promised to split his time equally between her and Garner. So when he cancelled their plans and instead had dinner with Jennifer, it was humiliating for Jen, especially since she had told everyone that Ben would be at her dinner.”

Meanwhile, Garner has been in a relationship with businessman John Miller since 2018, while Lopez has twin children from her previous marriage to Latin singer Marc Anthony.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s romance dates back to the early 2000s, but they split just days before their wedding. They rekindled their relationship in 2021 and married in 2022, but after just two years, Lopez filed for divorce on August 20, signalling the end of their relationship. The filing indicates that they had separated on April 26, leading to a swift conclusion of their romance.

During this period, Affleck was residing in a separate property while filming The Accountant 2.
