Jennifer Lopez REVEALS details about Ben Affleck proposal: Was the most romantic thing I could’ve ever imagined

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck recently got engaged. The great news was shared by JLo on her social media handles. She also shared a video on her website flaunting her engagement ring. The 52-year-old singer has now revealed in her On The JLo newsletter how The Tender Bar actor proposed to her. She said that he got down on one knee to propose to her in the singer’s “favourite place on earth” (in the bubble bath), fulfilling her “biggest dream.” The actress said the she was in tears when he popped the question.

Lopez revealed in the video, titled How It Went Down that she was “totally caught off guard” at the time. She said, “[I] just looked in his eyes smiling and crying at the same time trying hard to get my head around the fact that after 20 years this was happening all over again”. The actress added, “I was smiling so big and tears were coming down my face, feeling so incredibly happy and whole. It was nothing fancy at all, but it was the most romantic thing I could’ve ever imagined”.

Jennifer also revealed that the proposal was “unexpected” adding, “Just a quiet Saturday night at home, two people promising to always be there for each other. Two very lucky people. Who got a second chance at true love.” Affleck proposed to Lopez with a green diamond ring which is her lucky colour.

Jennifer and Ben were engaged back in 2002. But they called off their engagement two years later in 2004. Jennifer was married to Marc Anthony and Ben to Jennifer Garner, but they got divorced from their partners. JLo also previously dating Alex Rodriguez, while Ben Affleck was with actress Ana de Armas.
