Jennifer Lopez STALLS divorce proceedings; is ‘upset’ and ‘angry’ with Ben Affleck for ‘humiliating her’- Report

While the rumours of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck heading for a split are turning out to be true, new reports state that the singer-actress is delaying the divorce proceedings. According to a new report, Lopez feels Affleck had humiliated her and hence she’s holding off on the divorce to protect herself from any further embarrassment.

As per a new Page Six report, Jennifer Lopez is angry with Ben Affleck amidst their divorce news gaining more limelight. Talking about the ‘On the Floor’ singer being upset with the ‘Good Will Hunting’ actor for the split, the insider said, “She’s furious. He has humiliated her. He was the one who initiated getting back together.” The actor previously dated from 2002 to 2004 after they met on the sets of Gigli. The Hollywood stars rekindled their love in July 2021 following Lopez’s divorce with Alex Rodrigues in April 2021.

Stating the reason for the humiliation, the source further stated, “He’s humiliated her because she made a big deal that he’s the love of her life.” The source also added, “They just had two weddings two years ago. This is some kind of a record, they’re not young kids.” For the unversed, the couple first eloped to Las Vegas in July 2022 and tied the knot. This was followed by their second wedding at the ‘Batman’ actor’s home in Riceboro, Georgia, in August 2022.

JLo is upset with the kids being caught in the middle of the split

Reportedly, the ‘I’m Into You’ singer is also disappointed with the children being caught up in the split drama. The source said, “There are five kids involved in this. She knew they were going to blend families. She has not fully accepted it is over.” The couple do not share any children. However, Affleck is a father to three kids with ex-wife Jennifer Garner – Violet (18), Fin (17) and Samuel (12). Lopez is the mother of twins Max and Emme (ages 16 years old) with previous husband, Marc Anthony. JLo is particularly close with Affleck’s eldest daughter, Violet.
