Hollywood actor Jeremy Renner shared his first public message on Tuesday. The Avengers star who essayed the role of Hawkeye suffered extensive injuries in an accident on January 1. The actor suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopaedic injuries in the accident on Sunday and was soon airlifted to a hospital. Jeremy Renner is in the intensive care post undergoing surgery on Monday.
The Hawkeye star posted a message to Instagram from his hospital bed: “Thank you all for your kind words. I’m too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all.”

In the picture, Renner is seen lying on the hospital bed with injuries visible on his face. No sooner did he share the pics that fans and friends wished him a speedy recovery. Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt, Taika Watiti and Orlando Bloom also wished their Avengers co-star. While Hemsworth wrote, “Speedy recovery buddy. Sending love your way!” Pratt commented, “Continued prayers your way brutha.” Jimmy Fallon wrote, ‘Lotsa love out there for you bud.’
Reportedly Renner underwent two surgeries to repair injuries including blunt chest trauma, after which he was reported to be in “critical but stable condition.”
Renner is best known for playing Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, beginning with ‘Thor’, ‘and the Avengers’. He most recently played the character in the Disney+ series ‘Hawkeye’. Renner was nominated for an Academy Award for his performances in ‘The Hurt Locker’ and ‘The Town’.

Renner was recently in India shooting for Rennervation with Anil Kapoor slated to be released this year. He will also be seen in the second season of Mayor of Kingstown, set to premiere on January 15 on Paramount+.
