Jin REACTS to rumours of leaving BTS for a solo music career; says, “Band music is a genre I’m…”

Kim Seokjin, aka Jin of BTS, has recently released his solo music album Happy. He has taken a significant step in his musical journey by releasing his solo music; fans are wondering if he is planning to shift towards acting.

Jin of BTS opens up about rumours of leaving the band for a solo music career

In a recent interview, Jin clarified that he will always remain a part of BTS and that he has no plans to leave the band anytime soon. He is one of the eldest members, who was the first one to be discharged from the military earlier this year.

Speaking to Billboard Korea, Jin, when asked about his plans, said, “The only band I, now and forever, will be part of is BTS. Band music is a genre I’m personally interested in, and I enjoy exploring different styles as a solo artist.”

Additionally, he clarified that his musical roots and affiliation would always be with BTS. Jin and the other members are not currently in the mood to leave BTS or pursue a full-time solo career.

Jin has acknowledged that he misses his fellow group members even if he is enjoying a new stage in his musical career. Talking to TikTok Korea, he revealed, “Oh, I miss them these days. Going solo gets kind of boring sometimes. If Jungkook is there, I can fight with him. But now, I don’t have them, and there’s only the staff. I can’t play or fight with the staff.”
