Sophie Turner-Joe Jonas open up about their DIVORCE, issue a strong official statement

The news of Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner heading for a divorce were making rounds on the internet. The two have been married to each other for a period of four years and they share two daughters. Previously, according to a magazine, Joe Jonas had filed for a divorce with Sophie Turner and had reportedly asked for the joint custody of their daughters.

Now, taking to their respective Instagram handles today, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have confirmed their divorce. The have released an official statement. Their statement reads, “After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”

Previously, the reports of Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner splitting started making a storm on the internet ever since Joe was spotted without his wedding ring. As per The Blast, Joe and Sophie have signed a concrete prenuptial agreement before they got hitched in Las Vegas. As per the agreement, Joe will keep all the royalties of his music to himself. On the other hand, Sophie will keep the money of Game of Thrones to herself. 

Speaking of their relationship, the two had met each other in 2016 and got engaged a year later. It was in 2019 when the two tied the knot in the Vegas style. Later, in 2020, Joe and Sophie had welcomed their first child and the second one in 2022. One of their daughter is named Willa and they have not revealed the name of their second daughter, yet.
