Joe Jonas: New music album won’t diss Sophie Turner
During a recent conversation with Billboard to promote his new solo album, ‘Music for People Who Believe in Love’, Joe Jonas stated that he is ‘not trying to come for anyone’ with the new music. He said, “It was scary at times, and also freeing. I’m not trying to come for anyone on this album. I’m not trying to put stuff on blast. I have a beautiful life that I’m grateful for. I’ve got two beautiful kids. I’m a happy person, and the music needed to resemble that — but also, the journey to get here.”
The singer – who separated from Sophie Turner in September last year, added, “At the core of it, if this body of work helps people through what they’re going through, that’s all I can really wish for.”
Joe-Sophie relationship
While reports of Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s separation and impending divorce surfaced last year, the proceeding took a back seat as the duo reached an ‘amicable resolution’ over the custody of his children – Willa and Delphine. In the midst of their divorce proceedings, Sophie was seen hanging out with Joe’s ex-girlfriend, singer-songwriter Taylor Swift.
