Hollywood star Johnny Depp has won the defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard. The Pirates of the Caribbean star was awarded USD 15 million in damages by the jury. The actor who has been receiving immense support from his fans has now splurged a whopping amount in an Indian restaurant in Birmingham.

Reportedly the actor splurged $62,000 (Rs 48.1 lakh) on the food and also left a generous tip for the staff as he left.

On Sunday, the actor was spotted at an Indian restaurant in Birmingham, England for a celebratory dinner with 20 friends including English musician Jeff Beck. According to New York Post, he spent more than $62,000 (Rs 48.1 lakh) on the food and also left a generous tip as he left.

The restaurant took to its official Instagram handle and shared pics. They wrote, The most talked about person on the planet right now joined us for dinner last night! We had the greatest of pleasure to be in the presence of Johnny Depp @johnnydepp and Jeff Becks @jeffbeckofficial ! What an amazing and humble experience. Only at Varanasi Restaurant!

As per BBC, Mohammed Hussain, operations director of Varanasi, said, “Depp’s security team came and booked the entire restaurant out for the evening. Depp and Beck arrived with about two dozen of their tour crew. They had a three-course dinner of chicken tikka shashlik, vegetable samosas and a king prawn starter. They spent a lot of money and did not even look at the bill. Depp also gave a large tip.

Depp has announced a collaboration with guitar legend Jeff Beck and will soon be out with his first album.
