Korean Dramas are taking over the world and they are a major part of the Hallyu wave along with Kpop. From The Heirs, Goblin, Boy Over Flowers to The Descendants of the Sun, the world can’t stop obsessing over these Korean dramas. But did you know that most of these K-Drama actors had started out as K-pop idols and solo singers?
Some of these actors have really long and successful idol careers before they entered the Korean drama space. Kim Taehyung aka V from BTS had the BTS ARMY hearing to see him in a K-drama before he finally signed Hwarang which also made us welcome the Wooga squad. Do Kyung-soo aka D.O from EXO was one of the lead singers of the band before he blew up the K-Drama space.
Kim Taehyung aka V
Kim Taehyujng is one of the frontmen on BTS and all fondly know him as V. BTS ARMY was very eager to see Taehyung in a drama given his love for acting that he has professed multiple times. V finally starred in Hwarang with Park Hyung Sik, Park Seo Joon which also gave us the lovely Wooga Squad.
