K Pop band NCT’s Taeil sets a new Guinness World Record; find out

K Pop band NCT member Taeil recently made his Instagram debut. Taeil managed to set a new Guinness World Record of ‘fastest time to reach 1 M followers on Instagram’ as per the agency. Apparently, Taeil managed to cross a million followers on Instagram in just one hour and 45 minutes after his first post. The NCT member’s Instagram followers today stand around 1.8 M after a week to his debut on the platform. Taeil has posted five pictures so far and follows his bandmates on the platform.

In a statement, Taeil thanked his fans for all the support. He wrote, “Thank you to all the fans! I was so surprised when I heard the news! I never imagined myself becoming a Guinness World Records title holder, and am truly grateful for all the love and support. I would not be here without my members and our NCTzens. I’ll try my best to connect and communicate even more through socials. I love you all! – TAEIL MOON.”

Before Taeil, the Guinness World Record was set by Harry Potter star Rupert Grint. In November 2020, Grint made his Instagram debut with the announcement of his daughter’s birth. He managed to reach a million followers in four hours and one minute. Before Gret, it was obviously Jennifer Aniston of Friends fame who had led to an internet meltdown with her debut. Jennifer had posted a selfie of the FRIENDS cast as her first post and had reached a million followers in five hours and sixteen minutes.
