John Wick 4: Keanu Reeves starrer release date postponed

Keanu Reeves much-awaited sci-fi drama The Matrix Resurrections has released in theatres on December 22. Fans are bowled over by his Neo avatar once again. Now they are eager to see Keanu in action once again and are eagerly awaiting the release of John Wick 4.

But looks like they have a long wait ahead as the release date of Keanu Reeves starrer John Wick 4 has been postponed.

As announced by Lionsgate with a video on social media, the action franchise has been postponed to 2023. The fourth chapter in Chad Stahelski directorial will now hit the theatres on March 24, 2023. With the shift in its release date, the Keanu Reeves starrer will now avoid clash with Tom Cruise Top Gun: Maverick.

For the unversed John Wick, 4 was first slated for a May 27, 2022 release. But its original release date was May 21, 2021. But the release was postponed due to COVID-19 Pandemic.

The movie is directed by Chad Stahelski, it features Keanu Reeves, Donnis Ven, Laureance Fishburne, Bill Skarsgard and more.

For unversed, Chapter 3-Parabellum grossed $ 327,281,779 at the worldwide box office when it was released in 2019. It had ended with a gravely injured John Wick recovering under the care of the Bowery King after being gunned down by Winston. The third chapter’s final moments are all about Wick’s revenge against the High Table the mysterious organisation that oversees the world of Assasins. The fourth will apparently be about JohnWick going all guns against the High Table.
