Lady Whistledown is back for Bridgerton Season 2, fans go crazy over Kate & Anthony’s budding romance

Netflix dropped the much-awaited teaser of Bridgerton Season 2 and Lady Whistledown is all set with her quill this season witnessing the budding romance between Viscount Anthony and the feisty Kate Sharma played by Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley. The teaser has already had the fans amped up for the love story between Anthony and Kate.

The easer begins with Lady Whistledown asking, ‘Did you miss me?’ her latest piece gets circulated in town. She says she has been ‘sharpening her knives’ while everyone wonders who she is. We see snippets of Kate and Anthony playing hide and seek games with their eyes. We had seen in the announcement teaser that Kate despises Anthony which has left the fans wondering how it will turn to hearts and flowers.

In the first season of Bridgerton, we saw Daphne Bridgerton, played by Phoebe Dynevor, struggling to land a suitable man for marriage. But the struggle was all due to her overprotective brother Anthony, the Viscount. Well, this season the tables have turned as Anthony is put on the spot.

Talking about Season 2, Bridgerton creator Chris Van Dusen told Entertainment Weekly earlier this month, “I had a very clear vision for Season 1 and I was given the freedom to follow through on it. Then the show came out and started to take hold of the world. It was all so surreal. Staying true to my original vision (for Season 2) became much more challenging, but it made me drill down even more.”
