One Direction singer Liam Payne passed away on October 16 at the age of 31 after falling from the third-floor balcony of a hotel in the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires. New updates have emerged on his death. The shocking details revealed that the singer died when he was allegedly trying to escape from his hotel room’s balcony when he tragically fell to his death.
Liam Payne was trying to escape a hotel room before his death
As per the reports, Liam knew that the hotel room was aware of his intentions and yet left him alone in his room. These details were out after a police report, a 911 call, and surveillance revealed that he used his hotel room and was using the balcony to escape.
Liam did not like being locked up in hotel rooms due to his experiences when he was a part of the One Direction band. Even on his death day, he was trying to get out of his Argentina hotel room using the balcony. He had allegedly escaped through hotel balconies in the past as well, according to TMZ sources.
Post his death, CCTV footage was released, which saw three guys being seen holding Liam Payne by his arms and legs. He was taken inside the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires. According to the allegation, Liam appeared to be unconscious in the timestamped footage. He resisted entering the room and the hotel staff forcefully settled him in his room and locked it using a master key card.
The report further revealed that the hotel staff called 911 to inform them about Liam. The transcript revealed, “I don’t know whether his life may be in danger. He is in a room with a balcony, and, well, we’re a little afraid.”
Many fans and friends from the industry gathered outside the church to offer their final condolences. The band members experienced an emotional reunion as Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan gathered to pay their final respects to the late vocalist.
Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy joined the mourners, who included fellow Girls Aloud stars Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh. Liam became well-known when Simon Cowell brought Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, and Niall Horan together to create One Direction on the ITV talent show The X Factor in 2010.
