Lovers of the Red Sky star Gong Myung is the next on the list of Korean actors to enlist in the military this year. Yes, Gong Myung will soon leave for his military services and his fans are disheartened. Myung’s agency released an official statement revealing the date on which The Bride of Habaek will bid adieu to his work for the military and it is quite soon.
Saram Entertainment revealed that Gong Myung will enlist as an active-duty soldier on December 14 which is almost a month from now. In the statement, the agency also asked for support from the fans to the actor. The location and time of his enlistment have been kept private given the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Hello.
This is Saram Entertainment.
Our agency’s actor Gong Myung will be enlisting in the military on December 14 as an active-duty soldier. We ask for your warm support for Gong Myung, who will return after dutifully completing the military service given to him as a citizen of South Korea.
For the prevention of the spread of COVID-19, the location and time of his enlistment will be carried out in private. We ask for your understanding.

Gong Myung has been loved by the fans for his effortless boyish charm. He is known for his roles in shows like Be Melodramatic, Revolutionary Love and The Bride of Habaek. He was recently seen in the show Lovers of the Red Sky which also starred Ahn Hyo Seop and Kim Yoo Jung. Gong Myung is also part of the variety show House on Wheels season 3.
