Tom Ellis starrer Lucifer Season 6 is all set to return as this will be the final season. The Devil is all set to return for his last night in LA before the curtains close on the much-loved series. Lucifer fans are happy that they have one more season of the Lauren Graham starrer but sad that the series is coming to an end. Tom Ellis took to his social media account and announced the release date of Lucifer Season 6 which will drop on Netflix this September.
Tom took to his Instagram and shared a montage of all the memorable moments from Lucifer, showing all characters. From Lucifer in his iconic car to his devil face, the video featured it all. The caption read, “The end is nigh! Lucifer’s final season premieres on September 10th on Netflix. ??(sic)” As soon as Ellis dropped the post, fans went crazy in the comments. One of them wrote, “IM NOT READY TO SAY GOODBYE,” another read, “Happy and sad at the same time! Ready to see it but not ready for it to end!,” one more comment read, “I’m so excited for this season… but i can’t say goodbye ? i want more season ??”

A couple of days ago, Tom had given a sneak peek into Season 6. He had shared a picture of himself as the suited Devil that is loved by the fans. He seemed to be standing at a crime scene. The caption read, “Good things are coming.(sic)”

In season 5, we saw how Lucifer’s lady love detective Chloe Decker being killed by his twin brother Michael. Lucifer was left in pieces after Chloe’s death, but he gave up his own life to restore hers’. This act redeemed the devil as well as his banishment from Heaven. Later, Lucifer took over the role of God.
