Matthew Perry death: FRIENDS co-stars, Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox ‘devastated’ with his loss

The sudden death of actor Matthew Perry has shocked the world. He essayed the role of Chandler Bing in the iconic show FRIENDS and was the most loved character. According to the reports, he passed away at the age of 54 on October 28. While fans were sharing reels and images of Matthew as Chandler Bing, his friends and co-stars were in complete shock. As per a source in Page Six (an International website), the main cast  Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Lisa Kudrow are devasted by the loss.

Friends cast to release a joint statement

The main cast has not yet shared a eulogy on social media as they are still reeling from the sudden death of Matthew Perry. A source told Page Six that Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Lisa Kudrow are preparing a joint statement. “The cast is reeling from the loss of their brother because that’s what Matty was — their brother,” a source told the international outlet. “It’s just devastating,” adding, “The entire cast is close. They will be devastated because they were together through the best of times and worst of times. And when Matty was sick, they protected him, they looked him after him fiercely.”

Matthew’s co-star Maggie Wheeler who played his girlfriend Janice penned a heartfelt note post his death. “What a loss. The world will miss you Matthew Perry. The joy you brought to so many in your too short lifetime will live on. I feel so very blessed by every creative moment we shared,” she wrote on Instagram.

Paget Brewster, who played Kathy on Friends, wrote on Twitter, “I’m so very sad to hear about @MatthewPerry. He was lovely to me on Friends and every time I saw him in the decades after. Please read his book. It was his legacy to help. He won’t rest in peace though.. He’s already too busy making everyone laugh up there.”
