Matthew Perry Funeral: FRIENDS star laid to rest in the presence of Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer

FRIENDS star Matthew Perry died at the age of 54 a few days ago (October 28). The actor’s funeral reportedly took place on November 3 i.e. Friday. The funeral was attended his FRIENDS co-star Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer. As per reports, Matthew was laid to rest in Los Angeles.

People Magazine reported that the funeral service of Matthew Perry was held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in LA, less than a mile from the Warner Bros Studios where FRIENDS was filmed. Matthew, Jennifer, Courteney, Lisa, Matt, and David were a family. The entire cast of FRIENDS was there to pay their last respects.

Two days after Matthew’s death, FRIENDS cast had issued an official statement in which they mentioned that they are ‘utterly devastated’ by the loss of their friend. The statement reads, “We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family. There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss. In time we will say more, as and when we are able. For now, our thoughts and our loss are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world.”

As per reports, Matthew died by apparent drowning at his LA home. He was found dead in the hot tub of his home by his assistant. No drugs were found at the scene and there was no signs of foul play.

Matthew Perry was one of the most loved actors in the industry. The late actor was best known for his role as Chandler Bing in the popular American sitcom FRIENDS, which ran for 10 seasons from 1994 to 2004.
