Nick Jonas is all praise for Priyanka Chopra’s performance in Matrix Resurrections, says ‘proud of you’

Priyanka Chopra’s most-anticipated Hollywood movie, ‘The Matrix Resurrections’ has finally hit the cinema halls and the actress has been receiving immense love and appreciation from fans all over the world. Amid this, she received a special compliment and it was from her husband and American singer Nick Jonas.

Sharing the poster of the film, Nick took to his Instagram story and wrote: “Congratulations to my amazing wife @priyankachopra and the entire cast of @thematrixmovie! What an incredible film.” In another post, the singer shared a still from Priyanka’s role as Sati from the film, and wrote:  “Proud of you @priyankachopra.”

Nick Jonas was not present at the grand premiere of Priyanka’s film in Los Angeles. Talking about the same, PeeCee revealed the reason behind his absence. She told The Hollywood Reporter, “He couldn’t make it tonight. Somebody in his tour tested positive, so he wanted to be careful coming in.”

A few days back, PeeCee dropped ‘Jonas’ from her Instagram handle, rumors of a rift between her and Jonas started doing the rounds. Recently, the ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ actress reacted to it and told the Times Of India, in an interview: “I don’t know! I wanted the username to match my Twitter, I guess. I just find it really amusing that everything becomes such a huge deal to people! It’s social media, guys. Just chill out!”

Meanwhile, talking about the film, it brings back the lead pairing of Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Lambert Wilson, and Jada Pinkett Smith from the original franchise reprising the same role. They are joined by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, and Christina Ricci. The film is directed by Lana Wachowski.
