Global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas is much in news these days. The actress has sparked divorce rumours as she dropped Jonas from her social media accounts. But soon put rumours to rest with a love soaked comment on husband Nick’s Instagram post. Priyanka Chopra now shares The Matrix Resurrections first character poster of herself.

Taking to Instagram Priyanka Chopra shared The Matrix Resurrections first look character poster of herself. She captioned it as “And she’s here. Re-enter #TheMatrix 12.22.21”

In the poster, Priyanka is seen dressed in a printed jacket and loose pants paired with knee-high boots. Her braided hair is tucked in buns on each side. Her look reminds fans of Sati from the previous Matrix film. Speculations abound that PeeCee might be playing the grown-up version of Sati. For the unversed, she is the little girl who accompanies the Oracle and also meets with The One aka Neo (Keanu Reeves) in the third Matrix film.

Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar reacted, ‘Boom’. A fan wrote, “Perfect. Cannot wait to watch the Matrixx.” Another wrote, “Sooo excited for her, she looks incredible.” Priyanka’s sister in law Danielle even reshared the poster on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Warner Bros Pictures is set to re-release The Matrix (1999) on December 3 in cinema halls in India, ahead of The Matrix Resurrections release on December 22.

The Matrix Resurrections is written and directed by Lana Wachowski. It also features Keanu Reeves, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick and Neil Patrick Harris in pivotal roles.
