Scream one of the most popular horror drama is all set to be back with a new instalment. Scream 2022 movie has unveiled a motion poster as a Thanksgiving present for fans. The new poster teases a number of the films character’s who could be the iconic killer’s victims, or his mysterious identity behind the Ghostface mask.

The poster features the well-known blade that serves as Ghostface’s weapon of choice. In the glittering reflection of the curved blade, the faces of the upcoming film’s cast are seen signalling either the killer’s new victims or one among them being the killer themselves. The poster also features some quotes from the characters, related to the gruesome murders and how to survive them. As with all of the Scream films, Ghostface’s identity is the big twist within each movie. Looks like the fifth instalment will follow the same pattern.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Scream franchise after the original cult-classic horror flick was first released in 1996. Twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, a new killer has donned the Ghostface mask. He soon begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past.
The fifth instalment in the horror franchise will see Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette return to Woodsboro to hunt down a familiar terror that has taken hold of their hometown. It also features some new members, Jenna Ortega, Dylan Minnette, Melissa Barrera, and Jack Quaid. Scream hits theatres on January 14, 2022.
