The unsolved drive-by shooting of Tupac Shakur nearly three decades ago left the hip-hop community in shock, and the recent emergence of a new lawsuit adds further intrigue to the case. This time, Sean Diddy Combs, the prominent hip-hop mogul, faces grave new accusations, including sex trafficking, sexual assault, and a shocking claim that he allegedly boasted about orchestrating Tupac’s murder.
Sean Diddy Combs Boasted On Tupac Shakur’s Murder
Filed on February 26, the lawsuit features an anonymous plaintiff referred to as John Doe. The legal documents accuse Diddy of sexual assault and coercion, detailing a chilling allegation in which the rapper reportedly threatened the victim by referencing Tupac’s death. “If I can get Pac hit, what the f*** do you think can happen to you?” Diddy allegedly warned, according to the court filings. This accusation marks the second time Diddy has been connected to the legendary rapper’s murder, as reported by The Mirror US.
Tupac Shakur Death Case
Tupac’s tragic death in a drive-by shooting has remained a mystery for almost thirty years. However, in 2023, former Crips gang member Duane “Keefe D” Davis was convicted of first-degree murder, despite longstanding rumors about his involvement. Notably, Diddy was never charged in connection with Tupac’s death.
At the time of his murder, Tupac was entangled in the infamous East Coast-West Coast rap rivalry. It included conflicts with Diddy, known then as Puff Daddy, and the late Notorious B.I.G. He was also murdered in a similar drive-by shooting just six months later. Just like Tupac’s case, Diddy has not faced charges or been officially linked to Biggie’s death.
What Is the New Lawsuit Claiming?
This new lawsuit further complicates Diddy’s already controversial reputation, incorporating a directly incriminating statement reportedly made to the accuser. According to court documents, John Doe claims his encounters with Diddy began in 2012. It was when he was employed at a male companion service in Florida. He alleges that Diddy summoned him to New York City under pretenses. This led him to suspect he was being drawn into an exploitative situation.
On one particular night at the Intercontinental Hotel in NYC, the situation reportedly took a dark turn. John Doe alleges that Diddy instructed him to perform sexual acts upon a female companion for multiple hours, during which he engaged in degrading acts upon her.
The lawsuit describes a disturbing incident where John Doe, after consuming water provided by Diddy, felt disoriented and as though he had been drugged. The situation escalated when Diddy allegedly followed him into the restroom, disregarding his protests about feeling unwell. “I really want you to stay, let’s turn up, let’s turn up,” Diddy purportedly insisted. This culminated in claims of sexual assault against the victim. It was alleged that he was subsequently threatened into silence with the ominous reference to Tupac.
With this latest lawsuit, the pressure intensifies on Diddy. The former head of Bad Boy Records is already embroiled in a host of serious allegations. He has been charged with multiple individuals coming forward in recent months. Currently, Diddy is detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York. He is awaiting trial on charges related to sex trafficking and racketeering. He has pleaded not guilty to all allegations, asserting his innocence amid the growing number of claims against him.
