SAG Awards 2022: Selena Gomez trips and falls at the red carpet, goes barefoot

Selena Gomez attended the Screen Actors Guild Awards 2022 also known as SAG Awards looking like a complete diva, which was held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California on February 28. However, the Lose You To Love Me actress had an awkward moment, wherein she tripped and fell down on the red carpet. She ended up ditching her heels entirely and was seen walking barefoot at the event.

A video has been doing the rounds on the internet in which the We Don’t Talk Anymore singer can be seen tripping in her black high heels. Soon after, the singer immediately got up and swiftly removed her other shoe and walked away from the photographers. She was also escorted inside by the security personnel.

As soon as the video of Selena Gomez’s fall went viral, fans reacted to it. Netizens also shared their reactions on social media and lauded the singer. A user wrote: “Anyone else fail to see how this looks good? If you wanna post the video of her falling then post it Lmao don’t add the whole “looks good” thing to make it seem less mean, because it doesn’t look good, it’s a fall ?” Another user wrote: “she’s still a queen” A third user wrote: “Selena Gomez presenting barefoot at the SAG awards and I love it.”

Later, the Wizards of Waverly Place actress was also spotted presenting the Outstanding Female Actress in a Supporting Role award onstage alongside her Murders in the Building co-star Martin Short.
