It was earlier reported that the superhit Korean drama Crash Landing on You that released on Netflix will be getting a remake. Crash Landing On You saw a lead cast of Son Ye Jin, who played the character of Yoon Seri crashing landing in North Korea, Hyun Bin was seen playing the Lee Jeonghyeok, Seri’s saviour. The drama was the perfect fit for diehard romantics and the cast was adored by the fans. Well, Crash Landing On You will be getting a remake in the USA now as Netflix and CJ E&M has announced a collaboration.
On November 4, CJ ENM held a performance conference call. Kang Cheol Gu, the CEO of Studio Dragon, revealed, “We are in the final stages of a contract with Netflix-U.S. in order to develop a remake of the drama ‘Crash Landing On You’. We are currently discussing five potential Netflix original series, and are compromising with AppleTV, Disney Plus, and more.”

Apart from Crash Landing On You remake, another Korean Drama titled W: Two Worlds is also up for a remake. ‘W: Two Worlds starred the heartthrob Lee Jong Suk and Han Hyo Joo. The drama revolved around a murder mystery that saw Han Hyo Joo’s character alternate between the comic world and the real world created by her own father. W: Two Worlds will also get a US remake that will be titled Angel City. The US show will be written by Siren’s Heather Thomason and Love, Victor’s Jen Braeden.
