Sophie Turner steps out for dinner with ex-husband Joe Jonas’ former girlfriend Taylor Swift amid divorce

Sophie Turner made heads turn with her recent appearance as she stepped out for dinner with Taylor Swift. This appearance came after Sophie Turner announced divorce with husband Joe Jonas. Interestingly, Taylor Swift is an ex-girlfriend of Joe Jonas.

Sophie and Taylor were spotted outside the Italian restaurant Via Carota for dinner on Tuesday night in New York City. The duo was walking arm-in-arm and seemed to be having a good time in each other’s company. Taylor opted for a long denim jacket over a red dress and brown boots. Whereas Sophie donned a sexy gray outfit with a ponytail. This outing also was the first time Sophie has been spotted outside after announcing separation with Joe.

Sophie-Joe divorce

On September 6, Joe and Sophie released a joint statement announcing their separation. The note read, “After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are so many speculative narratives as to why, truly this is the united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”

Post the announcement, there were rumours that the reason behind the divorce was Joe pressuring Sophie to attend parties and his nature towards her. Joe had reacted to those rumours at one of the concerts of his ongoing tour. He had said, “If you don’t hear it from these lips, don’t believe it, okay?“

Interestingly, Joe had dated Taylor about a decade ago. The two had an awkward breakup, but thing seemed to have been sorted when Taylor sent a gift to Sophie and Joe on the birth of their daughter Willa.
