South Korean actor Ji Chang Wook has tested positive for COVID-19. The Suspicious Partner stars’ agency Glorious Entertainment confirmed the news on Monday. In a statement to SPO TV News, a source from his agency said, “Ji Chang Wook has tested positive for COVID-19. In accordance with health authority guidelines, he is in quarantine and receiving treatment.” Ji Chang Wook tested positive during the filming of his Netflix original series The Sound of Magic.

The filming of The Sound of Magic has come to a screeching halt as Chang Wook tests positive and the whole crew has been tested for the virus as well. All actors who were in close contact with him have been asked to quarantine. As per JTBC News, True Beauty fame Hwang In Yeop and Beyond Evil’s Choi Sung Eun who were also staring with the actor have been quarantined.

Talking about The Sound Of Magic, Netflix’s Korean Drama editorial called The Swoon confirmed the news and introducing the cast Ji Chang Wook, Choi Sung Eun, and Hwang In Yeop in lead roles wrote on Instagram, “Here’s a new drama to put on your radar: Netflix Original series THE SOUND OF MAGIC! There are too many things to be excited about but we’ll do our best to be concise: It’s a music drama. It stars Ji Chang Wook, Choi Seong Eun, and Hwang In Youp.
