The Matrix Resurrections: Keanu Reeves and Jessica Henwick reunite in new clip

Keanu Reeves is back with a new instalment of his much popular sci-fi series The Matrix Resurrections. The movie is all set for its release in theatres and on HBO Max on December 22. In a recent clip shared by the makers, Neo(Keanu Reeves) is seen reuniting with Bugs(Jessica Henwick).

In the new viral clip, Henwick’s Bugs can be seen saving Keanu from falling off a high rooftop. She also reveals their past connection.

In the viral clip, Neo aka Reeves is seen debating with himself. He is thinking about whether he will fly or fall if he jumps off a highrise. As he gets ready to take the leap, Jessica Henwick’s Bugs saves him.  Neo asks about their identity, Bugs says, “You won’t remember me, but a long time ago, you changed my life.”

She further adds, “I knew one day I would find you, and when I did, you would be ready for this,” Henwick’s Bugs says as they show a ‘white rabbit’ tattoo to Neo. They also ask Neo to follow them if he wants to know the “truth.”

The long-awaited fourth film in the groundbreaking franchise features the original stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss in the iconic roles of Neo and Trinity. The Lana Wachowski directorial also features, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, Jessica Henwick, Christina Ricci, Telma Hopkins, Eréndira Ibarra, Toby Onwumere, Max Riemelt, Brian J. Smith, and Jada Pinkett Smith.

The Matrix Resurrections is slated for a December 22 release.
