Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton to become parents, latter flaunts baby bump

During their appearance at the 2022 BAFTA awards, Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton sparked rumours of an engagement as the actress was snapped wearing a diamond ring at the event. Earlier in June, Tom Hiddleston confirmed those engagement rumours and now it seems another happy news is headed the couple’s way.

Tom had said, “I’m very happy,” while discussing fiance Zawe for the first time with Los Angeles Times in an interview. And now a source close to the couple confirmed Page Six that the duo is all set to embrace parenthood and welcome their first kid.

A visual confirmation came from Zawe herself as she spotted a baby bump recently on the red carpet of the premiere of her new movie Mr. Malcolm’s List in New York City on Wednesday night. Zawe was wearing a gorgeous off-shoulder gown in gold at the event and while Tom wasn’t present there with her, the baby bump Zawe showed just kind of confirmed the happy news.

Mr. Malcolm’s List is a period drama directed by Emma Holly Jones and is based on Suzanne Allain’s novel by the same name, and Suzanne has written the film as well. The film also features Freida Pinto, Sope Dirisu, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Ashley Park and Theo James alongside Zawe. She will also be seen as a villain in the upcoming film from the Marvel Cinematic Universe titled The Marvels.

As for Tom, who is popularly known for his role of Loki in the MCU especially in the Thor movies, won’t be seen in the fourth film of the franchise, Thor: Love and Thunder which releases on July 7. Although, he is getting ready to shoot for the second season of his show Loki. He was also recently seen in the series, The Essex Serpent alongside Claire Danes.
