Travis Kelce went all out for the 35th birthday of his girlfriend Taylor Swift. Sparing no expense as the NFL star treated his girlfriend to an impressive $175,000 worth of gifts. Despite the significant dent in his bank account ahead of the holiday season, Kelce likely won’t feel the pinch.
Travis Kelce spends $175k on Taylor Swift’s birthday- Report
Travis Kelce tight end and the pop superstar have been together for over a year, publicly confirming their relationship in September 2023 when Taylor Swift attended a Chiefs game with his mother, Donna. Since then, Swift has frequently been spotted at Kansas City games, cheering for the team as they secured their second consecutive Super Bowl title in Las Vegas against the San Francisco 49ers.
Their commitment to one another has remained strong, with Kelce reciprocating by attending multiple shows of Swift’s global “Eras Tour.” To mark her milestone birthday, Kelce splurged significantly, treating her to a lavish floral gift.
Kelce bought Swift 5 bouquets, one for each year, from the luxury floral brand The Million Roses. The three-time Super Bowl winner bought 15 black heart boxes of red roses, valued at $315 each, followed by ten orders of deluxe white boxes filled with black and red roses at $880 a box and ten boxes of neon rose gold roses at $580 each, bringing his total to $19,325.
Kelce didn’t stop there, spending $155.2k on jewellery from Tiffany & Co., Rolex, and Van Cleef & Arpels. The purchase from Rolex, a rose gold Day-Date 36 Rolex, set Kelce back over $60k alone. He also purchased a customized gold split cuff with a heart engraved on the inside from Tiffany & Co. for $22k and an Elsa Peretti open-heart bracelet for $25k. To cap off his lavish spending on his girlfriend, Kelce bought a $35.5k Alhambra necklace, a $8.2k Alhambra pendant, and a $4.1k pair of Alhambra earrings.
The Kansas Chiefs game season
As the Chiefs aim for a historic third consecutive Super Bowl win, Kelce remains focused on the field. Kansas City has been the reigning NFL champions for the past two seasons and currently shares the league’s best regular-season record at 12-1 with the Detroit Lions.
However, the Chiefs have faced challenges this season, dealing with injuries to key offensive players. Star running back Isiah Pacheco is just returning from a leg injury sustained in Week 2. The team has also struggled offensively, scoring over 30 points only twice this season, which has shifted the spotlight to their strong defensive performance. So far, Kelce has recorded only two receiving touchdowns and is approaching 700 yards this season.
