According to People, an insider revealed, “Taylor and Travis had a wonderful Thanksgiving with their families.” The celebration allowed both families to bond during the holiday season, particularly after Taylor missed last year’s festivities while on her South American Eras Tour. “This is their first Thanksgiving together,” the source added.

“Taylor and her family were thrilled to host the Kelces this year,” the insider continued. “Jason was there with his family and kids as well. It was a very festive and special occasion.” In addition to their holiday celebration, Taylor quickly joined Travis’ mother, Donna, at Arrowhead Stadium to support him during the Chiefs’ matchup against the Raiders.

The Thanksgiving gathering came as a surprise, especially since just a week earlier, Donna had mentioned on the Today show that Taylor would likely not be joining the family for the holiday. “I don’t think so. She’s kind of busy right now. She still has her tour to do,” the 72-year-old had said at the time. “I think we’re just going to be at the football game.”

Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce might get engaged

There had been earlier speculation that the couple might share engagement news with their families during Thanksgiving. While it remains unconfirmed, sources close to them suggested to OK that fans might expect a Christmas proposal. “Taylor could very well have an engagement ring by Christmas, and experts believe the proposal will be ‘huge and vintage-inspired’,” one insider shared.

The source added that Travis plans to seek Taylor’s family’s blessing before proposing.
