Victoria Beckham REACTS to David Beckham’s alleged affair, calls it the ‘hardest period’

Former British football player David Beckham is one of the renowned sports personalities. Recently, a four-part docu-series giving an account of David Beckham’s personal and professional life was released on Netflix. In the Netflix documentary series, the former British soccer star David Beckham and his wife, Victoria Beckham broke silence on his alleged love affair with his personal assistant, Rebecca Loos, in 2003.

In the documentary, the couple addressed the reports about David’s alleged affair with his former personal assistant, Rebecca Loos. For those unversed, after Ms Loos was sacked from her position, she gave an interview, alleging that she and David had conducted a four-month affair while he was married to Victoria.

Recalling how hard was that phase, Victoria Beckham shared, “It was the hardest period for us because it felt like the world was against us. And here’s the thing, we were against each other if I’m being completely honest. Up until Madrid, sometimes it felt like us against everybody else but we were together, we were connected, we had each other. But when we were in Spain, it didn’t really feel like we had each other either. And that’s sad. I can’t even begin to tell you how hard it was. And how it affected me.”

In response to this, David recalled, “There were some horrible stories that were difficult to deal with. It was the first time that me and Victoria had been put under that kind of pressure in our marriage. Victoria’s everything to me. To see her hurt was incredibly difficult. But we’re fighters. And at that time we needed to fight for each other, we needed to fight for our family. And what we had was worth fighting for. But ultimately, it’s our private life”.

Amid the hardships, the couple welcomed their third son, Cruz, in February 2005. Their family continued to grow with the arrival of their daughter Harper in 2011.
