Wonder Girls’ Hyerim and Shin Min Chul welcome first baby

Wonder Girls member Hyerim and her husband Shin Min Chul welcomed their first baby on February 25. The couple was blessed with a baby boy who they very fondly call Sarangie. The singer’s label issued an official statement that says Hyerim gave birth to a healthy baby boy at a hospital in Seoul on Friday afternoon.

The mother and baby are healthy and the artist along with her husband expressed gratitude to the wishes of the fans and others all this time.

rrr Entertainment issued an official statement that read, “On the afternoon of February 23, Hyerim gave birth to a healthy baby boy at a hospital in Seoul. Currently, both mother and baby are healthy, and are resting with the support of Shin Min Chul, family, and friends. Thank you for sending them such warm interest and love and we ask for your blessings and support for Hyerim and Shin Min Chul and their newborn baby.”

Hyerim has not revealed the face of her son yet, but she did share a picture on her social media account announcing the birth of her son. In the picture, you can see the feet of her newborn. Sharing the picture she wrote, “Our Sarangie [pre-birth nickname] has been born healthy! Love at first sight is REAL!(sic)”
