Akshay Kumar: I am very grateful to Arshad to show me the way to do a film like ‘Jolly LL.B 2’

Akshay Kumar will be seen as Jolly in ‘Jolly LL.B 2’. The first instalment of the film starred Arshad Warsi in the lead role, but reportedly the makers wanted to cast a bigger name in the sequel and that’s why Akki was roped in.

Recently, when Akshay was asked that the sequel is looking more commercial then the first part and is it because of his presence as he is the bigger star, he said, “I am very grateful to Arshad to show me the way to do a film like this. He is the guy who made the way, so it’s not about commercial or not commercial. I also went according to what he did it; he also made that film a very big film. So, I hope this film also goes the same way. To be honest the pressure is on me.”

‘Jolly LLB’ had received critical acclaim and was also successful at the box office. The sequel which also stars Huma Qureshi is slated to hit the screens on February 10.
