Anil Kapoor on giving advice to Arjun: I don’t give advice, I take it

Anil Kapoor will be sharing screen space for the first time with his nephew Arjun Kapoor in Anees Bazmee’s ‘Mubarakan’. The movie is slated to hit the screens on July 28, 2017, and few days ago, we met Anil Kapoor for a candid chat.

When Anil was asked how is Arjun as an actor, he said, “In a very short span in his career, I think he has been very lucky to work with Yash Raj Films because ultimately it is the production house, the director and the story. Like for example he did a film with Alia, ‘2 States’, good story, good star cast; a producer like Karan Johar, good director; the young director who directed the film, so everything came together. And of course you have to have talent. I feel this is just a beginning of his glorious future. When further asked, if he gave any acting tips or advice to Arjun, the actor said, “I don’t give any advice, apun leta hai. I take advice from you all.” He then questioned the media, “What should be my next film? What kind of film you people want me to do?” When media answered an action film, the actor said, “Action, I did ‘24’ (TV series). The first two seasons you saw the action. I love doing ‘24’, and hopefully in the third season there will be bigger and better action. Abhi thodi tang mein problem hai, main usko jaldi theek karne wala hoon. As soon as ‘Mubarakan’ releases on July 28, I am flying out of the country to nurse my leg, so I can be back with a bang and start working on third season of ‘24’.”
