Anushka Sharma: Why should I be blamed for Virat Kohli’s performances?

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and her hot shot boyfriend Virat Kohli have come out in the open about being a couple. Recently, Kohli was reprimanded by the board for misidentifying a journalist and abusing someone else for writing an article about Anushka.

Anushka Sharma has lashed out many of her fans, who blame her for Virat’s performance. She also let her ire be known to all for being called a distraction. The actress who is usually quite cool, gave a glimpse of her temper. Anushka said, “I don’t want to take credit for his (Kohli’s) performance nor be blamed for his poor performance. My relationship with the person has nothing to do with my profession or the person’s profession.”

On questioned about the restrictions imposed by the cricket board on WAGs(Wives and Girlfriends), Anushka also denied knowledge on restrictions imposed by the cricket board on Wives and Girlfriends as the board feels that WAG’s distract the cricketer. She said, “I don’t like the term ‘distraction.’ Why is it that person being viewed as a distraction? Why can’t the person be strength to somebody, a supporter, a morale booster. Why is it a distraction? Because you are attaching a physical relationship? I find it extremely primitive.”

Anushka also spoke in defense of Kohli as well as his teammates, suggesting that people should learn to treat the cricketers as adults and pay respect to their private lives and profession. She added, “These guys (Indian cricketers) eat and breathe Cricket. Please treat them as adults.”

She is truly a tigress when she stands in defense of her own.
