Is there a cameo of Karisma in ‘Judwaa 2’? Jacqueline answers

There were reports that Salman Khan and Karisma Kapoor, who starred in 1997 release ‘Judwaa’, will be having a cameo in ‘Judwaa 2’. While Salman has already shot for his cameo in the film, we had no idea about Karisma’s cameo in the film.

We recently met Jacqueline for an interview, and when she was asked if there’s a cameo of Karisma in the film, she said, “No, but yeah, that would have been pretty cool, that would have been awesome actually if we did. But, we have finished shooting. Unless there’s something they (makers) didn’t tell me. (laughs)”

Well, Jacqueline’s statement clearly denotes that we won’t be seeing Karisma in the film. Karisma was last seen on the big screen in 2012 release ‘Dangerous Ishhq’ which tanked at the box office. Her dance numbers in ‘Judwaa’ are still the talk of the town, and it would have really been great to watch Karisma in the sequel. Jacqueline, who is currently busy with the promotions of ‘A Gentleman’, also has Remo D’Souza’s next in her kitty. Recently, there were reports that Salman Khan has opted out of the film, and the movie has been shelved. When she was asked about the film getting shelved, the actress said, “The movie hasn’t been shelved, it has been pushed. The line ups have been changed a little bit. So, I am trying to figure out what’s going to work best for the team that we have existing. Remo does want to make this film and Salman is very keen. There has been no official announcement on it, so people are just figuring out something.”

Further talking about the reports of Salman opting out of the film, she said, “I don’t know. I have no idea about that. It hasn’t been communicated to me.”
