Here’s what Jacqueline has to say about Salman opting out of Remo’s film

We all know that Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez were all set to team up once again after ‘Kick’ in Remo D’Souza’s next. Jacqueline was going to play a dance teacher to Salman in the film. However, recently there were reports that Salman is not doing the film, and Varun will be replacing him. It was also said that the film might be put on a backburner.

So, when today we met Jacqueline for an interview, she was asked if the film is being shelved, to which the actress said, “The movie hasn’t been shelved, it has been pushed. The line ups have been changed a little bit. So, I am trying to figure out what’s going to work best for the team that we have existing. Remo does want to make this film and Salman is very keen. There has been no official announcement on it, so people are just figuring out something.”

Further when questioned her about the reports of Salman opting out of the film and Varun Dhawan replacing him, Jacqueline said, “I don’t know. I have no idea about that. It hasn’t been communicated to me.” (Also Read: Did Salman Khan back out of Remo D’Souza’s dance film?)

Well, few weeks ago, it was Salman who had confirmed that Jacqueline has been roped in for the film. The actor had stated, “Yes, Remo’s film will have Jacqueline and me. She’s a superbly talented dancer and she will do a brilliant job.”

He had also revealed the storyline of the film. Salman had said, “My character in the film is a widower, who has a 9-year-old daughter. He has promised his dead wife that he will fulfill every wish made by his daughter. She wants him to participate in a dance competition and enrols his name for it. For the competition, he has to learn to dance. Jackie trains me to do that. Bas dance film karna baaki tha, ab woh bhi kar liya.”
