Here’s what Urmila Matondkar has to say on the negative feedback around ‘Bewafa Beauty’

The ‘Chamma Chamma’ actress, Urmila Matondkar made her fans happy when she recently returned to the silver screen in ‘Blackmail’ song titled ‘Bewafa Beauty’. While the comeback song of ‘Rangeela’ star Urmila has been getting positive reviews, it has also been at the receiving end of negative feedback from many people.

And when we recently quizzed Urmila on what’s her take about the negative comments her song ‘Bewafa Beauty’ is garnering. She said, “First of all, this comeback stuff I don’t understand and I think that has happened like I said just now, because whatever little that people might have felt about it as the song which has come out so far has got movie inserts into it, and so it is a lot that is happening. Just the complete song hasn’t entirely come out yet. Hence, people are thinking that way“.

Further, Urmila whose dancing skills are unmatchable thinks that Bewafa Beauty is a completely different song and not the glossy types she grooved to in her earlier times. Elaborating on the same, the actress added, “Secondly, I have been associated with extremely high glam, glossy, big scale, different kinds of dancing numbers and this is a completely different take. So, like I said, the song cannot be different from the movie. It is a piece of a life kind of a song so people are feeling ‘Oh My Go why isn’t she dancing that much? Is it a lavish set or something our movies show?’ God knows where those nightclubs exist but that’s how it is shown usually. So, that was not the intention because I have been there and done that so the whole thing was to do something which is on a completely different page than that.”

Yes, we really need to agree with Urmila here, as songs and dance numbers should not be compared. Talking about ‘BlackMail’, the movie is slated to release on April 6, 2018 and we will get to see Urmila in a Bollywood film after ages.
