Here’s what Zaira Wasim has to say about feeling pressurised for ‘Secret Superstar’

Zaira Wasim, who made her Bollywood debut with ‘Dangal’ as the young Geeta Phoghat, will next be seen in ‘Secret Superstar’ in which once again she will be seen sharing screen space with Aamir Khan. ‘Dangal’ was a blockbuster at the box office and surely one of the best films made in the history of Indian Cinema.

When we recently met Zaira for an interview, we asked her if she feels pressurised about ‘Secret Superstar’ as ‘Dangal’ was such a huge hit, and she even received a National Award for the latter. To which the actress said, “I don’t feel a pressure because ‘Dangal’ was a hit. I feel a pressure because I overthink which is very personal to me. I feel pressurised for everything. I feel even pressurised for even sitting here right now. But, I am very lucky and very fortunate that I got a chance to work with him (Aamir Khan) twice. He has put in so much faith in me. I hope this film does well. I really hope all the efforts we all have put get appreciated.”
