Actor Kunal Kemmu and wife Soha Ali Khan were recently blessed with a baby girl and they named her Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. While we are awaiting her close glimpse, another thought that occurs to our minds is how well is Kunal coping with the daddy chores.
So recently in a media interaction, he was asked if he has ever changed her diapers. He replied, “I have stood there and boosted morales. I would actually. But, she is too delicate so I’m very nervous holding her and if I’m doing it right or not. Since we are first time parents, we have some kind of helpers to guide us. Soha was a little more hands-on. She immediately wants to learn to swaddle and all, so she is doing that a lot more. I’m right now just holding her and putting her to sleep.” (Also Read: Soha shares a heart-melting picture of hubby Kunal with baby Inaaya)
He further spoke about the changes he has experienced after turning a father. Said Kunal, “Sleep cycles have changed a little bit, priorities have changed. Like, I now look forward to going back home and not watching television or chilling or calling friends. But I know there is alot more entertaining stuff in store. Right now she is sleeping about 18 to 20 hours, sometimes 22 hours. Sometimes, it takes time to realise that ‘Oh, I’m a father, I have a child’. But, it’s all great, I’m happy and excited to live everyday. I’m just happy that she is healthy and she is good.”
Then, he spoke about how they decided on the name Inaaya. He replied, “When we were expecting and knew that we are going to have a baby. obviously the first thing to do is to come up with names for boys and girls. So, we had our shortlist.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, the actor will be seen in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Golmaal Again’ which also stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Parineeti Chopra, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade. It will be releasing on Oct 20, 2017.
