Ram Gopal Varma on his film with Abhishek Bachchan: We start ‘Arrest’ by May end

There have been a lot of reports about Abhishek Bachchan’s next film. The actor was last seen on the big screen in ‘Housefull 3’ last year, and reportedly has films like ‘Lefty’, ‘Arrest’, Nishikanth Kamat’s next, Ronnie Screwvala’s next, Priyadarshan’s next, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next and ‘Gulab Jamun’. Though, we are still awaiting an official announcement of all these films, we have got some details about his film ‘Arrest’. Recently, Ram Gopal Varma confirmed that his next is with Abhishek Bachchan and it has been titled as ‘Arrest’.

The filmmaker, who is busy with the promotions of ‘Sarkar 3’, recently met us for an interview. When we asked him about his next project after the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer, he said, “I am making a film called ‘Arrest’ with Abhishek Bachchan.” When further probed him about when the shooting of the film will kickstart, the filmmaker said, “Soon after ‘Sarkar 3’ releases, by the end of May.” (Also Read: Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra to team for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next?)

When further asked to give more details about the film, he said, “It’s too early to say. It is something related to the cops, but not in a legal way. He further revealed that Abhishek Bachchan plays a cop in the film.
