Just few days back, we sat for a candid chat with Shraddha Kapoor. The pretty lady is on a promotional spree for her next release ‘Half Girlfriend’ and is literally on her toes! She is busy giving interviews, attending TV shows for the promotions and what not?
As Shraddha managed to churn out some time for a group of journalists on a cosy Thursday morning, we asked how was it to associate with Mohit Suri for the third time, after ‘Aashiqui 2’ and ‘Ek Villain’. It was then that she revealed a hilarious instance.
For those uninitiated, Shraddha calls herself a tomboy! “I think I am a little bit tomboyish. It’s true that I am sitting in front of you, all nicely. But with my friends and my family, I am a different person. It’s a very different side. Mohit has seen that side of me. If I crack up, and if I laugh, it’s not very feminish,” she laughs, as she goes on to say how Mohit once asked her to laugh during dubbing of the film. “One day, we were dubbing for ‘Half Girlfriend’ and Mohit told me, “Shraddha, we need to record some laughs. You start laughing”. I fully cracked up, I was like hahahaha! Mohit came up to the dubbing space and he just looked at me. He was like, ‘what are you trying to do’! I was like, what do I do! He said, “Shraddha, please try to make it a bit more feminish na! This is totally out of character ya’!”
Believe or not, she actually imitated how she laughs when she is cracked, and a large group of journalists rolled in laughter!
You be a funny lady, Shraddha!
