Sridevi is all set to be back on the big screen soon with the film ‘MOM’. The movie is about the relationship between a mother and a daughter.
Recently, when we met the actress, we asked her as to what kind of equation she shared with her late mother, and how protective latter was for her. To which she said, “She was very protective. She was there for me all the time. Every shooting, every outdoor schedule, she was always there. I don’t event remember a day when she said ‘I am not feeling well, I am tired, you go for the shooting’. Har din har waqt she was there with me.”
On further conversation, when we said that how the times have changed, given that now mothers don’t accompany their daughters on the sets, the actress interrupted and said, “Sets toh bahot dur ki baat had, school pe bhi nahi aane dete. They say chill mom.” (Also Read: How does Sridevi look fab at 53? Check out her beauty, diet and fitness secrets)
Sridevi was very comfortable with her mother around her. “Yeah, even my children also definitely they want me around. They know I am their mother, so maa se zyada kaun jaanta hai. My elder one, till now the moment she gets ups the first thing she says ‘mama ko bulao’, but my younger one calls her dog, ‘Coco ko bulao’. That’s the only difference,” the actress chirped.
Talking about ‘MOM’, the movie is slated to release on July 7, 2017. It also stars Akshaye Khanna and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
