Vidya Balan – It Was My Dream To Be An Actress

Actress Vidya Balan is very busy promoting her movie ‘Ghanchakker’ a comedy movie that is a first for both the co stars, Vidya and Emraan Hashmi. She opens up about being an actor,what she feels like doing when it rains and her debut on TV and if she is thinking on returning to it.

As per sources,Vidya said, “when it’s raining so hard, all you feel like doing is to get inside a quilt and sleep. I feel very lazy during the monsoon “, about doing a comedy after such intense roles,she further added , “On one hand, I felt unsure of doing a comedy after doing such hard hitting, bold and realistic films. On the other hand, the actor in me kept telling me that this will be a superb opportunity to explore myself. I think the actor in me finally won the battle”.

Speaking about depicting so many different types of roles, she said, “It was a dream to become an actor, and now I’m living that dream. I became an actor so that I can live different people’s lives, have different experiences and cherish them. So I try to do as many different roles i can.” Vidya at the moment has no plans to return to the small screen but might do it sometimes in future.
