When Twinkle Khanna spilled Aamir Khan & Akshay Kumar’s secrets

Actor-turned-writer Twinkle Khanna launched her first book Mrs Funnybones: She’s Just Like You and a Lot Like Me, in Mumbai. Twinkle’s mother Dimple Kapadia did the honors. Twinkle Khanna began with writing a column titled Mrs Funnybones, that has earned a large fan following in a short span of time. Her column is known for her tongue in cheek comments.

On the occasion of her book launch she had for support her mother actress Dimple Kapadia, husband Akshay Kumar, good friends Aamir Khan and Karan Johar. The other celebrities who were present to lend their support to the witty actress were Jaya Bachchan, Susanne Roshan and Sonali Bendre.

The beauty who is the better half of Bollywood’s Khiladi Akshay Kumar is known for her sense humour. She also cleared up that if she writes anything about her friends from the industry she informs them. She also revealed a number of secrets of her friends and hubby dear.

On Akshay Kumar whom Twinkle calls her editor she said, “Akshay cries during movies like Aamir and wears checkered pyjamas every night and that on the very rare occasion when he drinks, he sings ‘Mainu visa dila de Dubai da’.”

Twinkle shared a humorous anecdote on good friend and co-star Aamir Khan, as how Aamir secretly cried on the sets of their film Mela, because the director refused to listen to his point of view.

The Perfectionist too gave it back to the lady, Aamir said, “Twinkle is talented in insulting people. She has always insulted me. I didn’t know that behind this bimbette, there was this sharp and talented woman.”

Karan Johar too could not resist taking a dig at Aamir Khan, as joked that Aamir might walk out any time given the ‘adult’ tone of the conversation between him and Twinkle.
