Cannes 2017: Many tones darker! Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is back with her purple pout

Queen bee, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is totally unstoppable and unbeatable at Cannes 2017. With her back-to-back appearances on the red carpet, she has already won millions of hearts. From many years till now, she has been nailing at the international red carpets with her style except for that one time when she was hilariously trolled for her purple lips.

Remember the purple lips of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan from Cannes 2016 which made social media go on a frenzy to dole out memes and jokes?  Well, if you thought that those nasty comments by fashion guru’s would discourage Aish, no, not at all. As again the shade returns and this time it’s darker than ever. Aishwarya seem to have loved the purple shade so much that she repeated it this year and honestly, we like it more than the previous one. (Also Read: Spellbound in red! Her makeup artist, Charlotte Willer, posted some pictures of her face on Instagram which are beautiful. If the eyes looked hypnotic with the help of the turquoise eye-liner, her purple lips would make guys go weak on their knees.

After her red-ruffled  outfit, we thought we will see Aishwarya directly in Mumbai then, but this bonus look of her got us really excited. We already are crushing over her floral gown and at the same time can’t take our eyes off her makeup. The Bachchan bahu, was spotted in an embroidered Georges Hobeika gown, looking fresh as a flower set against the blue sea of the French Riviera.

With some hint of blue, green and red floral motifs weaved around the bodice and hem of the sheer gown, her hair falling down her shoulders in soft waves styled by Dayaruci, Aish looked resplendent as ever.

Her infamous lilac pout last year had made her a butt of numerous memes and trolls. Aishwarya opened up on the same, while speaking to senior journalist Anupama Chopra. To which, she explained, how she had lot of things going on that day. So when her stylist finally caught up with her and whisked this shade, Aishwarya told her, ‘ my face is your palette, do what you want’.

And thus the saga of the purple lipstick was born, my darlings!
