Frankly, you need a lot of confidence and guts to wear such a saree-blouse design. India's most celebrated fashion icon, Sonam Kapoor looks hot in the above picture. Donning a rich ivory drape, Sonam added all the glory to her fashionista mirage with the help of a monochrome striped belted blouse that gave more chic and intellectual vibes to her overall look. Kangana Ranaut

Kangana always looks magnificent in a saree. Remember her promotional spree during 'Rangoon', where we felt saree was her wardrobe staple? She gave us quite a motivation to adorn our forgotten favourite (saree), throwing in some fab tadka whilst playing with the blouse. Complementing the delicacy of her Falguni Shane Peacock navy blue evening saree, was a three-quarter sleeve, sweetheart neckline net blouse beautifully adorned with the embroidery from the saree. Charming as always, Kangana yet again did complete justice to her desi style files.

Samantha Prabhu

Clicked at an engagement ceremony, Samantha Prabhu looked nothing less than a royal highness in that English toned saree. Obviously, the saree was way too pretty, but the main highlight of the attire was the blouse. The saree paired with an embroidered full sleeves blouse took over and added all the starry bits to Samantha’s evening look.

Spotted at Manish Malhotra’s birthday party, Sridevi made a powerful impact with her Indian look. Wearing a very unusual patterned cream sequinned saree, Sridevi spelled gorgeous in that heavily sequinned metallic blouse. If the front of the blouse was glorious the back was envious, with just an inch of clothing holding on to Sridevi’s sexy back. Hot!

At an awards night, Shilpa looked ravishing in a Mayur Girotra cream saree with a hot gold net blouse. The series of sequinned golden stripes offloaded on a net base halter neck blouse, was really magical. Without a second thought, this blouse design is indeed a winner.

Last on the list, but with an impeccable fashion grip, Twinkle Khanna was spotted wearing a fringed saree, with a fringed blouse that rendered the much needed offbeat element to the beige escapade. Complementing the fringed pleats adorning the edge of the saree, the fringes on the blouse suited perfectly, taking the look to all new highs.
