IIFA press meet: Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif glam up the event with their sartorial choices

Seems like another gala is on the roll! After some grandeur international events like MET gala, Cannes 2017, the next stop is IIFA 2017. For the uninitiated, The IIFA season recently, kickstarted (on June 1) with a press meet, which was attended by Alia Bhatt, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif among others. The awards will soon take place on July 14 and 15 in New York city.

Apart from the alluring outfits worn by the actresses during the press meet, what caught our attention was the crackling chemistry between the trio. If you are following Alia Bhatt on social media, you’ll surely agree with us that the actress has been juggling many styles when it comes to her appearances. From exotic to chic, bold to lady-like her fashion seems to hit the bar right, every time.

For the IIFA press meet 2017, she was spotted wearing a elegant silk-satin camisole with an emerald green and beige toned block skirt by Prabal Gurung. Celebrity stylist Ami Patel rounded off her look by accessorising it with statement rings from Misho and a pair of transparent heels from Intoto. We do liked the separates on her, but wished she had done something new with regards to her hairstyle, which would have elevated her look a bit more.

Seems like after a long hiatus, Katrina Kaif is all back in her fashionable best.

When we first saw a glimpse of Katrina Kaif at the IIFA press meet 2017, she reminded us of the fire emoji from our WhatsApp. Getting back to her attire, she chose to wore a sunset-hued striped mini dress from Balmain and looked sexy AF. Her long-sleeved dress with solid black inserts on the sides was styled with a pair of black Louboutin heels. Her face looked quite fresh with a dewy sheen and nude glossy lips. And lastly, we loved the way she left her lovely long locks open in curls.

So, Alia or Katrina? which one you think looked the best! For us, out of the two, Katrina Kaif is the clear winner this time.
